Job Description:

Following the successful introduction of Better Call Maypole unit within the Customer Care department, the group is seeking to increase the workforce within this unit to meet the workload of the Unit. The Better Call Maypole representative is to join the current team reporting directly to the Customer Care and Events manager, whereby the selected candidate will be expected to effectively solve customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour.

The Customer Care representative is responsible for

  • Managing of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Identifying customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutions
  • Assisting clients in choosing the most adequate product
  • Receiving complaints on all products produced within Maypole group  

This role is an interesting and unique opportunity to work in the food manufacturing industry. The Maypole team is looking for these characteristics in the ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Has the ability to work in a team
  • Well organized and great attention to detail
  • Will be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Good sales abilities
  • The patience and ability to engage customers in conversations
  • Be computer literate
