The company is seeking to recruit a trustworthy and highly motivated Assistant Stores Manager to coordinate the dispatch and stores section in our company. The selected candidate shall be responsible of a team of employees to instil teamwork and provide support to the department.


Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Diligently and appropriately carry out the duties given to him by the employer in terms of this agreement
  • Treats in a proper manner any property in his care being property of the employer/suppliers/clients
  • Upholds confidentiality of all affairs of the employer, its brands, its suppliers and its clients both during the term of employment as well as thereafter
  • Input data as per lot batches, weight and item codes into the system and ensure that this is kept updated for record purposes
  • Act as a liaison between the head of departments, the Head chef and the main stores
  • Maintain a high standard of dress and personal appearance



  • Computer knowledge and use are mandatory; candidates in possession of ECDL certification will be considered an asset
  • Experience in a similar position is considered an asset
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • An eye for detail
