The Company is currently going through a period of growth and requires a responsible dispatch helper to join our team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the stores operate with the highest efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing and training store employees and establishing, monitoring and managing operation goals;
- Train and manage the store team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals;
- Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations;
- Input goods receipt in ERP with proper lot number/expiry dates;
- Issues transfer orders from ERP system;
- Stock PAR levels are to be of responsibility of the senior store keeper and suggest to the purchasing manager supply demands ;
- Act as a liaison between the head of departments, the head Chef and the main stores;
- Create item codes in system for new items;
- Maintains standards of health and safety, hygiene and security;
- Plan work rosters, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Store Manager will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Leadership qualities and ability to manage staff
- Knowledge of computer systems
