We are currently going through a period of growth and are seeking a responsible Assistant Production Manager to join our team.

Job description

• Ensuring the proper organisation of the department
• Review of quality and control including quality control sheets
• Knowledge in ERP in terms of stock management such as but not limited to work orders, transfer order, stock and posting journals
• Proper handover from night shift and day shift and vice versa
• Creating rosters
• Working on SOP’s to be vetted accordingly
• Performance reviews to be held annually
• Attends meetings such as operational and briefing meetings as well as training when needed
• Taking care of packaging orders
• Ensuring that packing stores is up to date and FIFO is applied

Requirements:

• Knowledge in IT applications such as outlook and excel
• Previous knowledge and usage of an ERP system will be considered an asset
• Good command of written and spoken English and Maltese
• Previous experience in a stores environment would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• A can-do attitude
