We're looking for a skilled Chef Tournant to join our team, bringing expertise and finesse to our culinary operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for outstanding pastry offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations, contributing to the smooth running of the pastry department.
Prepare high-quality pastry items, adhering to company standards and production targets.
Maintain strict health, hygiene, and safety standards in all kitchen activities.
Monitor food storage, preparation, and waste, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management, order supplies, and control waste and portion sizes.
Train and supervise junior staff, promoting a positive and professional kitchen environment.
Participate in and contribute to outside catering events as required.
Requirements:
Culinary school certification preferred.
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Chef de Partie, with a strong background in pastry.
Experience in high-volume production environments.
