We're looking for a skilled Chef Tournant to join our team, bringing expertise and finesse to our culinary operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for outstanding pastry offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations, contributing to the smooth running of the pastry department.
  • Prepare high-quality pastry items, adhering to company standards and production targets.
  • Maintain strict health, hygiene, and safety standards in all kitchen activities.
  • Monitor food storage, preparation, and waste, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management, order supplies, and control waste and portion sizes.
  • Train and supervise junior staff, promoting a positive and professional kitchen environment.
  • Participate in and contribute to outside catering events as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Culinary school certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Chef de Partie, with a strong background in pastry.
  • Experience in high-volume production environments.
  • Food handling certification (B) required.
