Maypole is currently growing and seeking a Maintenance Technician to goin the team. The selected candidate will support the Head of Maintenance in managing the maintenance team's workload to achieve departmental targets. They oversee tasks, ensure quality standards, and promote continuous improvement while prioritizing safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day workload and coordinating activities of maintenance team.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and emergency maintenance tasks.
• Maintain high standards of Food Hygiene and Safety controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, collaborate with Maintenance Manager, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Document maintenance activities, coordinate with departments, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Uphold workplace cleanliness, safety standards, and organizational practices.
• Supervise and mentor maintenance team, delegating tasks and ensuring operational success.
• Participate in training sessions and fulfill duties assigned by Department Head.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as maintenance technician.
• Technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
• Food handling certification (B) required.
• Fluent in English.
