We are seeking a talented Junior Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. The primary focus of this role will be analysing sales and trend data to identify patterns, forecast future trends, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Monitor seasonality effects on sales and develop strategies to capitalize on seasonal trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced Excel techniques, including pivot tables, data visualization, and statistical analysis, to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
• Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Excel and other tools.
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of Power BI tools for data visualization and analysis.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required to support business needs.
• Clean and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Build predictive models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and optimize business processes.
• Design and analyse A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product features, or website designs.
• Segment customers based on demographic, behavioural, or transactional data to personalize marketing efforts and maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the performance of various business initiatives, departments, or products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies.
• Create visually engaging charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards to communicate insights effectively and tell compelling stories with data.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations by adhering to data privacy standards, maintaining data integrity, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and PivotTables.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
