Maypole is seeking to recruit a trustworthy and highly motivated Storekeeper to be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our store and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Your duties will include:
- Receiving deliveries, meticulously checking goods for quantity, quality, and condition.
- Managing stock movements, accurately inputting records into our inventory system, and coordinating with delivery staff and vendors.
- Monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages or overstocking, and making recommendations for replenishment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized stockroom to ensure easy access and minimize damage or loss.
- Providing assistance with customer service during quieter periods, public holidays, and weekends.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in the Retail or Grocery industry.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Certification in food handling.
- Basic computer skills.
