We are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our growing team. The selected candidate will be ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective planning and compliance with regulatory requirements.  

The chosen candidates will be responsible for:

• Preparing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for all business units.  

• Leading the consolidation of group financial results across all operations.  

• Coordinate with banks and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance. 

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation accuracy, timely responses, and effective resolution of audit findings. 

• Collaborating with tax practitioners to ensure all tax obligations are met and optimized. 

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines.  

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies. 

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring annual budgets, working closely with department heads.  

• Preparing and maintaining detailed cash flow forecasts to support business operations and investment decisions.  

• Performing data analysis using Power BI to provide actionable insights, trend analysis, and performance dashboards. 

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English 

• Ability to support strategic decision-making in a dynamic, multi-sector environment 

• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. 

• Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure 

• Adhering to deadlines and a positive attitude 

Education and Experience:

• Masters in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is required. 

• Previous experience working within a Big4 Firm is ideal particularly in audit. 

• Have two years of supervisory experience.
