The chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for:

• Review bank, supplier, customer, and balance-sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of differences. 

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met. 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the company’s financial systems.  

• Responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and supporting documentation.  

• Assist in creditor and debtor follow-ups, including statement reviews and queries.  

• Handle payroll postings, including journal entries for salaries, wages, NI contributions, tax deductions, and related accruals.  

• Support the preparation and submission of statutory filings (e.g., VAT, tax-related documentation).  

• Assist during internal and external audits, preparing documentation as required.  

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.  

• Perform additional accounting or administrative tasks as may be assigned by senior team members or management.
