Job Overview:

The Associate Production Controller monitors and inputs in the ERP system the material movement in the production cycle to ensure traceability and material consumption as per set and approved Bill of Materials and Quality Manuals. They are responsible for properly registering all incoming and outgoing goods in a production department – in terms of type, quantities, and batch numbers. 

Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

• Reviews production plans and determines the required quantities of materials; 
• Prepares and processes order journals through ERP as required for the production;
• Accurately picks the correct batch number of the materials in the production module; 
• Balances stock levels with physical and actual quantities in the system, maintaining accurate inventory records; 

Material Quality Control:

• Checks and verifies received goods and reconciles it with requisitions. Signs off if the materials are of good quality and according to the required specifications; 
• Reports any issues or discrepancies with delivered goods to superiors; 
• Verifies batch numbers of the delivered products and ensures compliance with quality standards;  

Requirements:

• Experience as a Production clerk or something similar would be considered an asset; 
• Food handling certification (B); 
• Fluent in English.
