The Maintenance Technician I provides assistance to the Maintenance Manager and Head of Maintenance & Building services in the management of the day-to-day workload of the maintenance team to ensure that an effective and efficient service is delivered and departmental targets are achieved.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance Operations:
- Assists in running an efficient maintenance operation which can fulfil operational demands and meet set targets
- Assists with managing maintenance projects
- Assists in conducting risk assessment of processes and tasks in the department
- Displays initiative in recognizing work to be accomplished and makes recommendations to the Maintenance Manager or Head of Maintenance & Building Services
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role is required
- Technical certification or apprenticeship is preferred
- Computer knowledge is preferred
- Food handling certification (B);
- Fluent in English.
- Ready to work during the night and to work overtime in cases of emergency or when requested to
