The Bakery dispatch clerk plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the dispatch operations whilst ensuring the seamless flow of bakery products from the production line to our outlets.
Responsibilities:
• Receives, processes incoming bakery orders and prepares sales orders ensuring accuracy and completeness;
• Resolves any discrepancies or issues related to orders or deliveries promptly and effectively;
• Creates all delivery notes, ensuring accuracy and completeness and posts them before item leaves factory;
• Checks all stock levels, ensuring adequate availability for orders;
• Maintains accurate inventory records, tracking product movement and identifying potential stockouts;
• Reports any stock discrepancies or shortages to the superiors immediately;
Requirement:
• Experience in an administrative or dispatch or logistics role would be considered an asset.
• Proficient in the use of an ERP system
• Customer service skills
• Food handling certification (B);
• Fluent in English or Maltese
