Job Description

Overview

The Stock Controller is responsible for executing stock counting activities and ensuring accurate and timely recording of inventory movements. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform cycle counts and periodic stock takes across all entities within the Group, including regular (daily or as scheduled) stock counting activities. 
  • Ensure stock counts are conducted accurately and in accordance with established procedures and internal controls. 
  • Prepare and input stock journals into the system in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all stock adjustments. 
  • Identify and highlight potential issues within warehouse and inventory processes. 
  • Report any non-adherence to inventory procedures at store or warehouse level to the immediate supervisor. 
  • Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and inventory control standards at all times. 
  • Support the wider finance and warehouse teams as required during stock-related activities. 
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by management from time to time in line with the scope of the role. 
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent time management skills

Education and Experience
  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory, warehousing, or similar will be considered an asset
